It was a very successful start into the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup weekend at Monza, the Italian highspeed track for Lechner Racing: During free practice on Friday evening, the Lechner drivers managed a sweep, with BWT Lechner Racing driver Thomas Preining leading the field under very tricky rainy conditions with rain ahead of Michael Ammermüller and Josh Webster.

BWT Lechner Racing driver Thomas Preining secured his third win of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season 2018 at Spa-Francorchamps, leading from start to finish line and never really being endangered by any of his rivals. In the end he saw the chequered flag 4,1 seconds ahead of Dutchman Larry ten Voorde.

BWT Lechner Racing driver Thomas Preining continued in impressive form during qualifying for the seventh race of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup at Spa-Francorchamps. The 20-year old Austrian claimed pole position with an ever so astonishing lead of more than four tenth of a second ahead of Julien Andlauer from France.

Michael Ammermüller of BWT Lechner Racing scored victory in the first race of the 2018 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup at the Circuit de Catalunya, 3.4 seconds ahead of Jaap Van Lagen and the second Lechner driver on the podium, Dylan Pereira from Luxembourg.

Michael Ammermüller is the new Porsche Supercup Champion 2017. A second place behind Australian Matt Campbell was enough for the 31-year-old Bavarian to finally score the title with an advantage of seven points ahead of Dennis Olsen with Lechner Racing. “I am absolutely over the moon,” said Ammermüller while walking to the podium.
