Lechner Racing continued in great form at the Porsche Supercup Free Practice at Monaco
Lechner Racing continued in great form at the Porsche Supercup Free Practice at Monaco, managing the sweep again: Norwegian Denis Olsen, who already claimed tenth position at his Porsche Monaco debut last year as a guest starter for Lechner Racing, finally claimed the top spot ahead of Michael Ammermüller, who is currently leading the Porsche Supercup Championship after his two wins in Spain. Dan Cammish took third place, an even more impressive performance regarding it is his first start in the tricky streets of Monaco.
Austrian team principal Walter Lechner now has only one thing to worry about: "We have seen that the speed is there, and also Dylan Pereira and Ryan Cullen could have finished further up, if it hadn´t been for the usual Monaco mess of traffic, yellow and red flags in the end. We just need a bit of luck in Qualifying tomorrow, as usual at Monaco it´s all about getting a clear lap."
Al Faisal Al Zubair still had to get to know the Monaco Circuit and the whole atmosphere of this highlight of the Porsche Supercup season. But the teenager from Oman again did a great job with staying out of any trouble and improving lap by lap, hoping to be able to improve from P20 a little bit more tomorrow.
