04/10/20 One-Two Victory for BWT-Lechner Racing at Paul Ricard – Misslin Twice on Top in Pro-Am
BWT Lechner Racing celebrated the first win of the team in the French Porsche Carrera Cup at Paul Ricard: In the third race of the weekend, JB Simmenauer dominated from start to finish and finally crossed the line more than six seconds ahead of his teammate Jaxon Evans, who repeated his second place from the first Sunday race in the morning. After some difficult weekends, it was also a great day for Lechner Racing Pro-Am driver Nicolas Misslin, who won his category in both races.
03/10/20 Podium Finish for Jaxon Evans and BWT Lechner Racing at First Race at Paul Ricard
In the first of three races of the Porsche Carrera Cup France at Paul Ricard, BWT Lechner Racing driver Jaxon Evans scored another podium finish, coming home third behind the two French drivers Adam Eteki and Marvin Klein. JB Simmenauer finished in P6 after a long fight with pole sitter Florian Latorre.
19/09/20 Podium Finish for JB Simmenauer and BWT Lechner Racing at Le Mans
It was a very special event for the Porsche Carrera Cup with the French and the German series racing together in the support program for the classical 24 Hours of Le Mans, on the famous more than 13 kilometre track with its long straights, with an overall classification, but also separate results and points for the two championships.
13/09/20 Three Podiums for BWT Lechner Racing at the Start of Porsche Carrera Cup France
It looked as if JB Simmenauer had scored the first victory for BWT Lechner Racing in Sunday´s race at the Porsche Carrera Cup France at Magny Cours – but it didn´t hold: After long discussions a penalty against Florian Latorre was lifted again, so the Lechner driver had to put up with P2 in the end. Nevertheless, with two podium finishes already in the first race of the season on Saturday for Jaxon Evans and Simmenauer, it was a very good start for the Austrian squad in its first participation in this series.
11/09/20 BWT Lechner Racing Joining Porsche Carrera Cup France
For the first time in the history of the team, BWT Lechner Racing will take part in the Porsche Carrera Cup France. The four-car-entry will be lead by Jaxon Evans and JB Simmenauer, two Lechner drivers who already did the 2020 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season for Lechner Racing. They will be joined by German newcomer Richard Wagner and Frenchman Nicolas Misslin, who got to know Lechner Racing as a guest starter in the Supercup season 2020.
30/09/19 Ammermüller on the Podium – Andlauer Secures Title with P9 at Sachsenring
Julien Andlauer is the new champion of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany 2019. A ninth place in the final race of the season at Sachsenring was enough for the Franchman to bring the title home with an advantage of just 2.5 points ahead if his BWT Lechner Racing teammate Michael Ammermüller, who finished in P2 behind Larry ten Voorde. Winning the race would have given the championship to the 33-year-old Bavarian in this constellation in the last minute...
28/09/19 Ammermüller Postpones Championship Decision with 6th Victory
BWT Lechner Racing driver Michael Ammermüller postponed the championship decision in the German Porsche Carrera Cup 2019 until the last race of the season. Winning for the sixth time in 2019 at the first race of the Sachsenring weekend ahead of Larry ten Voorde and Dylan Pereira from Team Lechner Racing, the 33-year-old reduced the gap to his teammate, championship leader Julien Andlauer, to 15.5 points, the Frenchman having to be content with P4.
14/09/19 Pink Podium Sweep at Hockenheim – Fifth Win for Ammermüller
It was a completely pink podium again at the first race of the seventh Porsche Carrera Cup Germany weekend 2019 at Hockenheim: Michael Ammermüller from Team BWT Lechner Racing scored his fifth win of the season, just ahead of his teammate Julien Andlauer and Dylan Pereira, who also represents the pink colours in this series.
