Lechner Racing Porsche Carrera Cup
19/09/20 Podium Finish for JB Simmenauer and BWT Lechner Racing at Le Mans
It was a very special event for the Porsche Carrera Cup with the French and the German series racing together in the support program for the classical 24 Hours of Le Mans, on the famous more than 13 kilometre track with its long straights, with an overall classification, but also separate results and points for the two championships.
13/09/20 Three Podiums for BWT Lechner Racing at the Start of Porsche Carrera Cup France
It looked as if JB Simmenauer had scored the first victory for BWT Lechner Racing in Sunday´s race at the Porsche Carrera Cup France at Magny Cours – but it didn´t hold: After long discussions a penalty against Florian Latorre was lifted again, so the Lechner driver had to put up with P2 in the end. Nevertheless, with two podium finishes already in the first race of the season on Saturday for Jaxon Evans and Simmenauer, it was a very good start for the Austrian squad in its first participation in this series.
