Lechner Racing Middle East
Recently having finished the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East in third place, Dylan Pereira from Luxembourg enters his second complete season of Porsche Supercup well prepared. Already a regular in 2016, he is looking forward to improving on last year´s results when he finished 13th in the final classification with 36 points.
The 19-year-old can look back at some Portuguese heritage. His father came from Portugal to a new country and developed into a quite successful businessman in the automotive field, which now helps him to support his son´s racing career. Pereira, who calls Ayrton Senna and Lewis Hamilton his big racing heroes, started in karts when he was only 10 years old, winning different Championships in Luxembourg and also taking part in World and European Championships, before gaining some experience in the VW Golf Cup before moving to the Porsche Supercup. “Working with the Lechner Team now, which for sure is one of the top squads in the Porsche racing world means a great step in my career and I just hope I can live up to their expectations during the season. “
